Tracking your button clicks
Estimated time to complete: 1 minute
Requirements: An account on NowButtons.com
However, NowButtons are injected into your websites source code and are part of the DOM. This means you could manually set up event tracking if your statistics tool allows for it.
It's possble to keep track of the number of people that click on your buttons. While NowButtons itself doesn't store any of this information, you can easily do this via your Google Analytics account.
Enabling click tracking
Enabling click tracking (or event tracking) happens on the domain level. To do this:
Step 1
Open your domain settings by clicking on the gears icon next to your domain name at the top of your screen.
Step 2
Click the toggle next to Click tracking in Google Analytics (if it's green it's activated)
Step 3
Click Save below it to store the new settings.
That's it! The NowButtons auto-detects your version of Google Analytics and enables the correct implementation method for tracking clicks on your buttons.
